Darko Esser is without doubt one of the key person in Dutch electronic music scene. His label Wolfskuil Records was founded in 2003, for reasons not uncommon to most labelowners: a huge drive to put out good music from talented artists they knew. Joris Voorn did one of his first releases on the label, as well as local talents like Giorgos Gatzigristos, who was signed to labels like Kompakt and Bedrock not soon after. In 2008 Darko became the sole owner of Wolfskuil Records. The following years saw an increase in the label's output, a broader soundscope and an artistroster that got more and more international with each release. The label receives support from a lot of international keyplayers, including the likes of Laurent Garnier, John Digweed, Sasha, Karotte, Len Faki and Dave Clarke to name a few. Darko will start his new label Balans in January 2011.
